wheel.me has decided to open the first international office in the Motor City, Detroit, Michigan.
The Detroit location was selected due to its proximity to the company`s customers and important industry verticals. wheel.me will be present in new offices located in Corktown, Detroit from September 2022.
To lead the U.S. office wheel.me has appointed Rasmus Noraas Bendvold as U.S. Managing Director, which will report directly to Chief Commercial Officer Daniel Hessen. wheel.me will also strengthen its U.S. presence with Oyvind Vallestad as Head of Supply Chain, with the objective of building a specific U.S. Supply Chain strategy.
wheel.me has been invited to join Michigan Central, where Ford and Google, together with the City of Detroit will create the world's largest area for self-driving technology.
