wheel.me™ production facilities are coming to life

wheel.me™ has previously announced the establishment of the wheel.me™ manufacturing plant in Fredrikstad, Norway. We are happy to share that the first collaborative robotic cell for part assembly of our autonomous wheel, Genius, is now fully operational, the first of several to come. We can now share the first pictures of our assembly line.

“When all cells are in place, the line capacity will be able to produce a robot every 90 seconds, and Wheel.me Genius will be managing the material handling between the production lines, moving material from A to B.” says Chief Production Officer in wheel.me, Zaid Hamed.

The number of full-time employees in Fredrikstad now counts six, and we are looking for more operators and a new production leader. Visit our career sites if you are interested in joining Norway`s new industrial robotics adventure.
