wheel.me™ and Faurecia announce that they have entered into a framework agreement to deploy wheel.me Genius, the world’s first autonomous wheel, in Faurecia`s Simpsonville manufacturing facility located in Kentucky in the United States.
With 266 industrial sites, 39 R&D centers and 114,000 employees in 35 countries, Faurecia is a top ten global automotive supplier. Faurecia’s mission is to develop technologies for Sustainable Mobility and to create personalized experiences for the Cockpit of the Future.

The companies have been piloting the solution together for almost two years before entering into the agreement. After a successful first installation in Simpsonville, several Faurecia manufacturing facilities in North America are ready to deploy the technology.
