Description

As the Computer Vision Engineer, you will be a crucial part of the software team. You will own the computer vision part for perception, a system used by many Fortune 500 Companies around the world. Our robots use embedded Linux boards connected to various other embedded devices via CAN bus, and are backed by a Cloud Robotics platform running several different services.


We are a VC funded, small yet highly ambitious team, with a great platform in late stages of development. You will play a significant role in shaping the future of our products, culture, and engineering team. Join us in creating new tools to reshape the autonomous robotics industry.


YOUR IMPACT

  • Create/modify vSLAM (visual SLAM) algorithms

  • Test and validate the software in various challenging realistic environments

  • Participation in team-wide code and architecture reviews

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with at least 3 years of experience in the industry:


  • Experience with Linux operating systems

  • Experience in commercial computer vision field

  • Experience using the following languages: C++, Python or Rust

  • Strong knowledge in vSLAM systems

  • Knowledge in ROS


Additionally, any experience in any of the following areas would be a benefit:


  • Robotics simulation, particularly with Gazebo, Stage

  • Familiar with embedded hardware and sensors (2D Lidars, IMUs, and cameras).

  • Experience with continuous delivery and continuous integration of software platforms
